The Boston Breakers named Ashley Phillips assistant/goalkeeper coach, the team announced on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old played 11 games for the Breakers last season, posting a 2-5-4 record.
She is the third coach named by Boston this offseason as the Breakers named defender Cat Whitehill player-assistant coach in October and Tom Durkin was named head coach in September.
The Peabody, Mass. native previously played for the Boston Breakers in WPS.
Phillips has priory coaching experience as an assistant coach for Northeastern University in 2010.
