Allie Long to Play for Portland Thorns FC

On the eve of the NWSL College draft, the Portland Thorns agreed to terms with midfielder Allie Long.  Long will bolster an attack that already consists of US midfielder Tobin Heath, and forwards Alex Morgan and Christine Sinclair.

Long spent time with the Washington Freedom (2009-2010) and Sky Blue FC (2011) during three years in WPS.  Upon WPS folding in 2012, Long signed with the New York Fury after a stint with French club PSG.

Titanium Sports Marketing made the announcement via Twitter Thursday evening and stated that the signing will be made official by the Portland club shortly.  The Equalizer confirmed the announcement with Long.

As per league policy, all signings are pending approval from the league.
